Neil Moss Photography – Alternative & creative wedding photographer in Basingstoke, Hampshire » Wedding and portrait photography in Basingstoke, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Berkshire and beyond!

Hey there, I'm Neil a lifelong Photographer. I tell stories and sell products and businesses through creative and alternative imagery, in Hampshire, London, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Cornwall, Surrey and beyond. Those that have followed my work for a while probably realise I haven't updated my site with all the weddings and commercial work I'm shooting every week, so....

I will be taking my photography career in a new direction at the end of the busy wedding summer season 2016. My new website launches April 2017. will be the home for weddings. I will only be releasing a few select dates left in 2017, so do check back or get in touch with your wedding date. (where you are now) will be showcasing my commercial work from April 2017. For more information on my work please contact me on the contact page above.

But, if you're getting married and can't wait to see the new site - below you will find a few images with an explanation of how I work with you and what to expect at each step along the way.

Save the Date

I always want to meet face-to-face prior to securing the date. Taking the opportunity to have a coffee and sit down to discuss the all important details of your wedding. This initial meeting is also very helpful for getting to know you better, something I can't stress enough as the pictures I take will show your personality through and through. It's important we both have the same vision for your wedding, so I can produce images that you will treasure. Also during this meeting we can go further into detail on other products I offer such as albums, prints and signature boards.

Engagement shoot

If you have requested an engagement shoot, I will contact you for available shoot dates around 2-3 months before your wedding day. An engagement shoot will prepare you for the big day, by getting used to me and my way of working (which is relaxed).

4 weeks and counting

In the few weeks prior to your wedding day, we will discuss the schedule and logistics of the day. I like to plan a visit to your wedding venue, so we can be fully prepared for every detail of the day, this will make the day run nice and smooth. This is your opportunity to ask about any specific photographic requests you may have for your wedding.

 The big day: Getting Ready

I will start the day photographing you, your bridesmaids and those all important details such as dress, shoes, jewellery, flowers, rings, hair and make-up...basically anything you have put time into to get where you are on the day. I know you've spent hours choosing those all important details that make your wedding yours.

The ceremony, everything you have thought about comes down to those two words 'I do'. I capture the entire ceremony along with other candid images of those in attendance.

Family and Group Shots

I tend to take a more modern and contemporary approach to group shots capturing you and your family as well as the more traditional group shots. Please do let me know before hand about your group shots and feel free to provide me with a list of shots you would like me to photograph. I will find a suitable location, set these up in a timely manner, and they are as important as every other shot I take.

Couple Portraits

This is where we go and let our creativity flow capturing images unique to you and your partner, without all those eyes on you, just the two of you....and me.. I will ensure you are at ease and feel natural in front of the camera. I enjoy pushing the boundaries and creating artistic, elegant...sometimes even funny photographs that you will both look back on in years to come with fond memories.

The reception is the time for smiles, tears, fun and embarrassment - perfect to capture! I will focus on capturing photos of you and your guests enjoying all those moments. From the all important speeches, to the cutting of the cake.

First Dance

The first dance is one of my favourite parts of the day, as you and your guests are both wrapped up in the moment, perfect for the documentary wedding photographer to capture.
